 A significant milestone in the history of Preactor was recently celebrated at the famous Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons Hotel last week. 20 years ago the management team completed its MBO from BTR (now Invensys) and started on its long road to success. To celebrate the occasion 6 of the original team (plus wives and husbands) took time out from their busy schedules to remember the past and rejuvenate for the future.
Here Dr.Nigel Shires shows the special card sent to the team by Preactor Staff ably assisted by Christina Jefferies.
 Le Manoir is a beautifully appointed building just south of Oxford with classic gardens and ponds to wander around.
And of course it is owned by Raymond Blanc the well known Chef. He is one of the UK’s most respected chefs, and was born in a tiny rural village near Besançon, in eastern France. So the team was keen to try the dishes that Raymond is famous for.
After sampling the delights of the bar, the team were able to enjoy Raymond’s special creations as you can see here.

From this original team the group has now grown to over 60 people and Mike Novels commented on the future.
“It’s always nice to get together like this and remember the past. We rarely get the chance to do this. We are now looking forward to the next phase in the growth of the company. Some of us are getting a bit long in the tooth but we have an extremely able, dedicated and younger team coming through that will drive The Preactor Group to even further success.”
